The US: Should it Stay World’s Policeman?

Atico Mining, etc.

Despite all its flaws, the US has been the only stabilizing force in the world. Unfortunately, it has failed to fundamentally change the culture of those in the Third World, where five billion people live. This has meant that—in the final analysis—the US has merely enabled and subsidized the problems of the Third World, including enabling their populations to multiply. These problems have increased to a level where the US can no longer police the world and keep it stable.

The US should stay away from involvement in issues that do not affect it and its allies directly. This will indeed lead to major wars and internecine violence among the Third World countries and a rapid fall in their populations. This has to happen, so why delay the inevitable? I explore this issue in more detail in the linked article.

On Investments…

I recently talked with Cory Fleck about two companies, Atico Mining (ATY; C$0.245) and Palamina Corporation (PA: C$0.19). Linked is our talk.
