Investing in East Asia

In this discussion with Andy Millette on Natural Resource Stocks, I examine investing in East Asia, China’s property market, BRICS, India’s role in the changing world order, and opportunities in junior mining.

East Asia remains, in my view, the most attractive region in the world because of its discipline, productivity, social cohesion, and capacity for execution. This stands in sharp contrast to much of the Third World, where weak institutions, disorder, and cultural dysfunction continue to undermine economic potential.

We also discuss junior miners and how investors can think about value, risk, and opportunity in the resource sector.
