In this essay, I examine the structure—or lack thereof—of India, and why the country’s poverty, corruption, chaos, and institutional decay cannot be understood merely as failures of policy or governance.
India’s problem is deeper than bad politicians or weak administration. It lies in the absence of trust, moral restraint, civic responsibility, rule of law, and rational social organization. Without these foundations, institutions become predatory, society remains fragmented, and daily life descends into evasion, disorder, and survival.
