The future will be shaped less by technology than by demographics, culture, institutions, and civilizational cohesion.
In this essay, I argue that the West is being transformed by demographic change and the erosion of its civilizational foundations, while much of the Third World remains trapped in institutional decay, tribalism, and dependency. East Asia, by contrast, may be the last major region capable of preserving social cohesion and political continuity.
