I was published in the September 2008 issue of Liberty Magazine with a piece titled “Fall of the Royal House.”
In the piece, I discuss the collapse of Nepal’s monarchy and what it revealed about political legitimacy, tradition, power, and the fragile foundations on which ruling institutions often rest.
The fall of the royal house was not merely a change in political structure. It reflected deeper pressures in a society where monarchy, democracy, revolutionary politics, and social disorder were colliding.
The piece appeared on pages 21–22 and 26 of the September 2008 print issue.
