In this article for Mises Canada, I discuss the release of Jay Stuart Snelson’s Human Action Principles and reflect on the influence of Snelson, Jack Pugsley, and the V-50 lecture series.
Snelson’s work emphasizes reason, evidence, volitional science, and the need to move beyond faith, tribalism, nationalism, and political action. My own encounter with these ideas helped me focus less on trying to change people politically, and more on understanding, persuasion, and personal growth.
