Musings on Investing

The Third World and Hedonism

Here is a discussion I had with the Big Puff Podcast on why Third Worlders are hedonistic, fail to dream big, recreate with a vengeance the problems they supposedly left behind when they immigrated, and what lies in the deep recesses of their minds.

On Investments

Andy Millette and I discussed what I see as the near future of the USA and what the Trump administration means for the world. We also talked about two investment opportunities, one of which I also mention below:

ALX Resources (AL; $0.025): I have written several times about its acquisition. While AL’s share price keeps returning to $0.025—and I bought more yesterday—the acquiring company’s share price has increased. The current arbitrage is 51%. If all goes well, this merger could close in two weeks. I will stick with my limit buy price.
