The UK: My First Visit

My first visit abroad was to the UK. Before I left India, I was repeatedly told that the grass was always greener on the other side. It often is, but the UK turned out to be greener than what I could conceptualize before I arrived. I did an expensive MBA (for which the university allowed me to pay my fees after I had completed it), but I learned the most from how the locals lived and conducted themselves. Those eighteen months were the best time of my life, even though I survived on rotten potatoes, rice, ketchup and peanut butter. Here is a recent conversation that I had with a friend:
