Kashmir: The Never-ending War

In this article for Liberty, I examine Kashmir, the conflict between India and Pakistan, and the deeper irrationality that keeps the region trapped in permanent hostility.

The article argues that Kashmir is not merely a territorial dispute. It is a symptom of nationalism, tribalism, institutional decay, and the inability of India and Pakistan to reason their way out of inherited conflicts. What appears to be a political problem is, at its root, a civilizational and cultural failure.
