I was published by Canada Free Press with an article titled “The New-Age Racists.”
Beginning with a conversation about immigration and race in a Vancouver bank, I examine the difference between open racial prejudice and the more fashionable paternalism concealed behind political correctness.
I argue that refusing to acknowledge destructive practices within non-Western cultures does minorities no favor. Those who insist that immigrants cannot succeed without special treatment—and who attribute every failure in poorer societies to the West—often express a subtler form of racial condescension while presenting themselves as defenders of equality.
