In this article for Doug Casey’s International Man, I examine India’s accelerating institutional, political, and cultural decline in the context of the 2019 general election.
The article argues that India’s British-inherited institutions have been hollowed out by tribalism, corruption, ideological fantasy, and the absence of a rational moral substrate. What remains is not a functioning modern state, but a decaying institutional shell increasingly unable to contain the society beneath it.
